For this office building design we worked as consultants on the excavation and structural projects.
The one-story basement construction required the temporary stabilization of neighboring buildings (with foundations at road level) via an anchored micro-pile contiguous wall.
The structure was designed as a reinforced concrete frame scheme. Raft foundation, concrete walls at the sides and just one internal column formed spans of 8 m. The roof is a folded solid slab with skylight openings that rest on the perimeter walls (no central column), therefore achieving a widely diaphanous space.
